| It does what it says on the box. It's black and it's limestone. But -It's more, the stone does have a slight variation in colour from flag to flag, it's subtle but it's there. The pointing lines get to tell their own story, highlighting the blackness of the stone and the pattern in which it is laid. The stone will weather to greyer tones over time but will always be undeniably black.
Black limestone is a great choice for the black squares of an outdoor chessboard, or used with other flags as a border or to highlight an area.
